The Contract Specialist responsible for pre award and post award contracting functions related to design and construction services.

Specific duties/responsibilities:- Reviews procurement requests and advised technical representatives on anticipated procurement requirements.
- Prepares contracting documents (e.g., solicitation documents and justifications, acquisition plans, source selection plans, final contract specifications, recommendations for pre-award and post-award decisions).
- Analyzes and evaluates cost and pricing data to determine reasonableness.
- Conducts negotiations.
- Solves problems relating to change proposals, claims, payments, or similar problems.
- Maintains official contract file to ensure all contractual requirements are satisfied.
Position requirements: Driver’s license, bachelor’s degree, DAWIA certified Contracting Professional or able to obtain certification within 24 months

Telework is allow up to 8 days per pay period. Remote work is not allowed.
Prefer a candidate with military contracting experience.
Prefer a candidate with design and construction experience.
